# Underseat

Every figure is verified against airline and government websites; last full review 2026-10-10.

Key facts: US airlines charge $50 to $150 each way for a pet in the cabin. A carrier of 17 x 10.5 x 8.5 in fits every US airline limit we track. United, Delta and American no longer fly pets in the hold except for military and State Department moves; Alaska and Hawaiian do ($200 each way). British Airways, Emirates and Qatar Airways don't allow pet cats or dogs in the cabin.
